My training in IT with Cisco is great!

I was really fascinated with Information Technology way back in 2000. My only problem was that I have no training in this field. Until I have decided to enroll at Informatics, one of the IT schools in our town. After few months of my training I began to appreciate the importance of IT in today’s world if we want to know more knowledge about information technology. We will surely gain proper knowledge aside from the vast opportunities for us if we graduated in IT courses.

Spammers your days are numbered!

I have read Alosblog yesterday about spammers being sentenced to prison by different courts in the US. At least with this development, courts are giving strong signals that they won’t hesitate to prosecute anybody caught victimizing their lowly victims through spamming activities.

Recently sentenced by a US court was a certain Robert Soloway to serve 47 months jail terms aside from the monetary damages he reportedly inflicted to his victims. According to report, Soloway who was been tagged as “spam king” has been milking over $700,000 from his victims. It was Judge Marsha Pechman who sentenced him to almost four years imprisonment after the court found him guilty of spamming and tax fraud.

In the previous years there were some spammers sentenced to imprisonment. Among them were Jeremy Jaynes who was sentenced in the Virginia court to serve for nine years. There was also a certain Adam Vitale who was only slapped for two years by the court.
If you are involve in spamming activities by victimizing many website owners in the internet, you better think twice, because there are now many companies that gained courage to prosecute you until you pay for the crimes you have committed.

Angelina Jolie's baby twins successfully delivered

Angelina Jolie’s giving birth to healthy baby twins – a boy and a girl – were the biggest trophies they have had to which they were very happy and contented, after all the many trials they experienced as movie actor and actress. According to sources at the French Riviera maternity clinic, where Angelina successfully give birth to her baby twins, the happy couple would name their kids Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. What a nice name for the twins. Angelina delivered the babies thru C-section but they were very healthy. In fact, the boy weighed five pounds while the girl was more than five pounds. It means Vivienne was much bigger than Knox.

Brad Pitt, Angelina’s better half, was very happy with the successful delivery of his wife, according to entertainment sources. What is also exciting about the delivery of the twins is that their first photograph is reportedly sold at Eleven Million Dollars ($11-M) and the sale will be donated to humanitarian causes of the couple. What a great news!!

From the artistic hands of Carlota to online blogging

Carlota of myWeb-Blog.com is a Filipina artist based in Michigan who is now getting noticed online of her specialty blog designs she made for online clients. The designs are specially-made for mommies who want to blog something about their lives, hubbies and also to start earning extra income online. Actually, I only accidentally saw her blog while I made blog hopping few weeks ago. I was surprised when I saw her designs. I’ve been seeing many blog designers but Carlota’s designs are different and very artistic. Just by looking at her designs you can already predict these were made for women.

I conducted a short interview with Carlota thru online chat and she gladly answered some of my questions. The interview was in Filipino vernacular but I am translating it to English for the international audience.

Mr Nice Guy: Your blog designs were great and I really appreciate it. Do you have formal schooling about this skill?
Carlota: No. Actually, it just started as a hubby because I was really fascinated with my daughter Julie doing some layouts. At first I just observed how all these blog designs were created and made live online.

MNG: I see. So, this means your daughter is the real artist here…just kidding. (laughs) How did you actually master the craft when you don’t have formal study about blog lay-outing?
Carlota: I have associate degree in computer and also took up three months 2D and 3D animation classes. That’s why I can easily understand the processes in blog lay-outing. I also studied about HTML.

MNG: Great. Your previous learning experience in school as a computer graduate really helps you to easily understand what your daughter was doing. Is it really difficult to learn about HTML editing?
Carlota: Not really. As long as you know pixel-ling and all the lay-outing procedures which involve Photoshop and Adobe then you can easily work it out. In my case, I ask my clients first what design, color, background and also ask for pictures they want included in the blog layout. In this way, I can make a blog according to their taste. After the blog is finished I would let them see it before the final layout.

MNG: How much are you charging your clients for your specialty blog lay-outs?
Carlota: Actually, I really don’t charge outright but just let them decide how much they are willing to pay me for the job. Normally, my clients pay me from $30-$50 per blog design.

MNG: I understand this is not your main job but just a hubby which is now giving you some earnings. What exactly is your main line of work?
Carlota: yes, that’s true. I am actually a Graphics Illustrator at an automotive company here in Michigan. This is my main job during work days. During weekends I make layouts when there are orders from my clients. My clients are usually women. As you can see in my layouts, its kind of girly concepts and I like it too. However, men clients are also welcome.

MNG: Thanks Lot for this short interview. I really appreciate it.

I was happy with the look of my main blog yesterday, after Carlota, a friend from Michigan made some makeover of my header as well as the layout and color background. Now, my blog looks like a professional make money blog with the blue color combination which is my favorite color. This means I am on the go signal of massive marketing campaign in the coming days.

Mr Nice Guy Maintains $1K Mark for June Income

It’s time once again to blog my money blogging income so that I would exactly know how this blog and my other blogs has reached for the last 30 days – as far affiliate advertising and my writing career for the month. This is not to boast my income but make a review of my monthly goal – to check whether I arrive at my goal or not, whether I fail or not as well as to assess what kind of campaign should I make for the ensuing month. My other purpose is to encourage more bloggers to try their luck in make money blogging. This income report, which is supposed to be posted on July 1, was a little bit late since I was pre-occupied with lots of works to do during the last few days. Anyway, here it is now although there was only a slight improvement but it’s just fine.

This blog’s affiliate marketing campaign income is not as big as other money blogger’s income since it only started on December 17, 2007 after it finally registered the official domain at Go Daddy. I am not campaigning for a get-rich-quick-quick so you cannot expect my affiliate ads such as adsense, kontera, widget bucks to immediately blast like lightning. At least there is improvement in my income as compared to May. This month I’ve earned $1,273.30 – all combined for private ads, sponsored writings, and affiliate advertising. As usual, my private ads and writing career has the biggest share in the pie since I have already regular clients for almost a year now. As a make money blogger my adsense continue to increase from $22.84 in February to $36.00 in March. Passion.com gave a small earning of only $10.40; $60.00 for Bloggerwave and Sponsored reviews for only $92.00. My new income stream is Social Spark which I already earned $60.00. The rest of affiliate ads such as adbrite and shopping ads are still not giving me income.

As far as blog statistics, Mr. Nice Guy is still PR 3 and its Alexa ranking is now 389,000 from over six million in December. So, it is still fine stats for the last two months of make money blogging. This means those sleepless nights really paid off for me. I am not a genius blogger and I need to catch up like conducting thorough research especially on the technical aspects of money blogging.
