Yes, I will be attending the Mindanao Bloggers Summit II which will be held in General Santos City, the tuna capital of the Philippines, On October 25-26 at the Family Country Hotel and Convention Center.
This is a gathering of Mindanaoan bloggers to discuss matters that will of course benefit us - as well as our own island Mindanao. There will be activities already lined up by the host city. The summit is only limited to 100 bloggers so that everyone is requested to register early.
To join this very memorable event for Mindanao bloggers you should have at least one active blog which is either Wordpress, Blogger, Live Journal, I.com, Multiply, Friendster, Imeem, etc. or a self-hosted blog.
The first MBS was hosted by Davao City bloggers last October 27, 2007 and it was a very successful endeavor.
I don't know if Cagayan de Oro is ready to host this kind of summit. Bloggers are not organized in our city. But I hope it can happen someday. I pray.
