Mr Nice Guy Income drops for the 2nd time; $949.50 in July

It’s time once again to blog my July income in blogging using ways to make money online so that I would exactly monitor how this blog and my 10 other blogs has reached for the last 30 days – as far affiliate advertising and my writing career for the month. This is not to boast my income but make a review of my monthly goal – to check whether I arrive at my goal or not, whether I fail or not as well as to assess what kind of campaign should I make for the ensuing month. My other purpose is to encourage more bloggers to try their luck in make money blogging. This income report which is supposed to be posted on August 1 was a little bit late since I was pre-occupied with lots of works to do during the last few days. Anyway, here it is now although there was a slight decrease but it’s just fine.

This blog’s affiliate marketing campaign income is not as big as other money blogger’s income since it only started on December 17, 2007 after it finally registered the official domain at Go Daddy. I am not campaigning for a get-rich-quick-quick so you cannot expect my affiliate ads such as adsense, kontera, widget bucks to immediately blast like lightning. At least through this blog you can follow though how I arrived at this point in time blogging.

It was a second time drop in my income as compared to June. This month I’ve only earned only $949.50 – all combined for private ads, outsourced writing jobs, and affiliate advertising. As usual, my private ads and writing career has the biggest share in the pie since I have already regular clients for almost a year now. As a make money blogger my adsense continue to increase from $27.00 in June to $39.85 in July. Passion.com gave a small earning of $12.00; $40.00 for Smorty and Sponsored reviews for $104.00; Social Spark, 35.50 and Kontera $3.05. The rest of affiliate ads such as adbrite, Widgetbucks and Yuwee are still not giving me income. For the first time I also sold two books of Mr. JoelComm and I had $20 commission. If you become Joel Comm’s affiliate you just need to post a banner ad.

As far as blog statistics, Mr. Nice Guy is now PR 3, however, last few days I got a problem when I was slapped by Google and my PR 2 went to zero and my Alexa ranking also was affected as it drastically dropped like any other top bloggers. Many bloggers said all Smorty and PayPerPost members were slapped by Google then I come to realize I reviewed two casino sites from Smorty. So what I did was took my Smorty banners and Casino links. I checked at PR Checker and learned that my old domain is PR 3 while the new one is still slapped with zero. So, I decided to follow my old domain’s PR.

I started this blog at http://abroadjobs4u.blogspot.com sometime in October 2007 but in December I transferred it to this new URL and pursued my money blogging career. The only good thing here is that I was using a re-direction – which means when you click to my old domain you are redirected to my new domain URL which is www.makemoneyonlinedotcom.info . I am a newbie back in December so I never realize this problem. It was an experience for me as a newbie blogger in those months in which I still do not know many things about blogging and its technicalities. It’s good thing that I never applied yet for Joel-escol.com which I am planning to apply at Go Daddy as my main blog because it carries my name just like John Chow.
